Important Note on Pickup Mounting (Pickguard-less Design):
The pickup cavities on this body are precisely routed for standard Jazz Bass (J-Bass) pickups. While these pickups are traditionally mounted through a pickguard on factory models, this body is specifically designed for a clean, pickguard-less wood-mount installation.
How to mount: The 21 mm mounting tabs at both ends are designed to be screwed directly into the wood using standard wood screws.
Height Adjustment: Because there is no pickguard to provide spring clearance, we strongly recommend using adhesive pickup foam pads (instead of metal springs) to adjust and maintain the pickup height. This ensures a rattle-free, stable setup.
(Note: For pickguard-mounted setups, please refer to our JBE-006, JBE-009, and other similar models, which are specifically designed to accommodate standard 4-string Jazz Bass pickguards. This current body is strictly configured for direct wood-mount installations.)
